Customer Product Review-- Euthymol Toothpaste

One of my favorite customers was looking for a toothpaste that her 10 year old would use and would help to prevent plaque.  She tried this and the Royal Black Bee Honey Mint Toothpaste.  The Euthymol won with the 10 year old, hands down.  In fact, Mom says that he sometimes even brushes more than once a day.  Yay for essential oils, less plaque, and clean teeth.

 

Campaign 17 Product Review- Macadmia Oil - Foaming Shower Gel and Body Mousse

 I'm loving this product this month!  Just some tips on use.... The shower gel will come out in a continous stream of gel if you keep holding the button down.  I find that pushing it down halfway dispenses enough for a shower.  It foams up when you rub it in to your wash cloth...* very foamy and lots of luxorious suds.  The Body Mousse comes out as a very light foam so don't wave your hands around or you will have foam where you probably don't want it to be.  Just smooth it on gently all over.  It has a nice soft fragance that will not interfer with you choice of fragrance.  I applied mine several hours ago and my arms still feel soft and moisturized.  Even though it says "oil"  there is nothing oily about it.

My Grandma's Skin Care Advice

   When I was a young teenager with "problem skin"  (oily and pimples)   my Grandma Matthews gave me some good advice about skin care that has stood me in good stead for the whole of my life, "never wash your face with soap".  She lived to be 81 years old and still had baby soft skin.  I took that advice...  no face soap for me!  I tried at lot of different skin care regimens over the years... Some New Things I'm Trying

These double buckle blue suede shoes.  I wasn't gonna but got them as a return and they fit so I'm keeping them.  

 

  

I'm waiting for a cool-ish day to try out this shirt.  The sleeves are a mesh and should be lightweight enough for a hot-ish day but I'm not taking any chances.

The new cleanser (above ) and the Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream (below) are coming in my order on Wednesday 7/8/21.  I'll write a review in a couple weeks.

July Fragrance and Jewelry Picks

For July with summer reaching it's peak, I've chosen The Woods by belif for the fragrance that I will wear everyday in July.  When I was a kid, I loved playing in the woods on our farm in southwest Pennsylvania.  The summer sun on all the trees and plants gives off it's own scent and this perfume captures a little bit of that.  I say just a little bit because all you can say about the real scent of the summer woods is , " you can't bottle that"!

I didn't have a sterling silver necklace that I thought represented July so I decided on 3 different costume jewelry necklaces that I have had for a long time.  I picked 3 because I don't think that they will hold up to 24/7  wearing.  So as with all costume jewelry, I will put it on in the morning and take it off at night and not wear it in the shower.  All of which I do with my sterling silver necklaces.

The ring above is not Avon but it is very special to me.  It is a unique design that my mother had made for me by a jeweler in Clarinda, IA when I turned 21. The diamonds are from her wedding ring.  The year I turned 21, she had been wearing these diamonds and her wedding band for 22 years.  The diamonds were loose in their settings and she was afraid that they would fall out and be lost.  So since my birthstone is April she decided to have this made for me.  I loved it and wore it all the time but for a period when I was rasing kids and gaining weight, I didn't wear it because it didn't fit.  However, after loosing 90 lbs in 2010 it fits again and I wear it on special occasions like the month of July as July 12 is my Mom's birthday.  She would have been 86 this year.  She left us in 2005 after many years of illness.

I'm adding this to my monthly picks too just in case I need an additional ring.  It is sterling silver and I got it for a snip in the outlet flyer a few months ago so it's no longer available.
