March Necklace-- This is the color of the March Birthstone- aquamarine. I don't think this is a real aquamarine but the color is a match. Here is some info I found about Aquamarine.
" Aquamarine jewelry symbolizes youth, hope and health, making it a lovely choice for anyone with a zest for life. Aquamarine's color tones are subtle and varied with a soft luster that's easy to fall in love with."
March Rings--This ring matches the necklace. This one is kind of fat for everyday wear on my ring finger so I will just be wearing it on Sundays and whenever I go out of the house.
T
his is a sterling silver claddagh ring. It's the one I'm going to wear for every day. I picked this one for March because of it's Irish history. Here's a little info about the history of the claddagh ring. " There's an old Irish saying that goes along with the Claddagh (pronounced klad-uh) ring: "With these hands, I give you my heart and crown it with my love." The ring represents love, loyalty and friendship. The classic design of a Claddagh ring includes two hands clasped around a heart that is topped with a crown. Each of these elements has its own meaning—the hands for friendship, the heart for love, and the crown for loyalty—and they come together to symbolize all of the above. Claddagh rings have been around for centuries, with some of the earliest iterations dating back to the 1700s." This little sterling shamrock cutie, I will be wearing on March 17th for St. Patrick's Day!
